PRISON  MINISTRY  THEOLOGICAL  ESSENCE

1. Jesus says: “Behold the devil shell cast of you into prison, that ye may be tried” (Rev., 2:10). What for? Why does God permit it? Read further.

2. Millions of human beings are thrown into prisons. And they are sighing in gaols. The prophet and psalm-singer sings: “Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee: according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die” (Ps. 79:11).

3. Therefore, the sighing of prisoners is coming before the God. So, if we are making prisoners pray for advancing of Christ’s Kingdom, this prayer is coming before the God. And satan, casting people into prisons, increases the prayer to advance the Kingdom of Christ!

4. The praying prisoners are under the rule: “Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness” (Rom., 6:18).

5. Therefore, the prison ministers must make prisoners pray for the advancing of Christ’s Kingdom in order to convert the hell satanic net of fleshy prisons into the praying net to advance the Kingdom of Christ.

6. This is the theological essence of prison ministry.
