1. “The
Patriarchal Calendar for 2018” (the official edition of the Moscow Patriarchy
of the Russian Orthodox Church, 2017; with the portrait of Patriarch Kyrill on
the front cover page) contains the portraits of all the metropolitans,
archbishops and bishops of the Moscow Patriarchate. Among them are the
portraits of the hierarchs of the Ukraine Orthodox Church (watch further).
2. There are
the portraits of Lazar, the metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea; of Platon,
the metropolitan of Theodosia and Kerch; of Ilarion, the metropolitan of
Donetsk and Mariupol; of Mitrophan, the metropolitan of Lugansk and Alchevsk;
of Arseniy, the metropolitan of Saint Mountains, the vicar of Donetsk
bishopric; of Mitrophan, the metropolitan of Gorlovka and Slavyansk; of Alipiy,
the archbishop of Krasniy Liman, the vicar of Gorlovka bishopric; of Varnava,
the archbishop of Makeevka, the vicar of the Donetsk bishopric among the
portraits of the Ukraine Orthodox Church hierarchs.
3. It means,
that the Crimea and the Donbass eparchies are enlisted by the Moscow
Patriarchate as the Ukraine eparchies.
4. It means,
that Patriarch Kyrill has the political point of view, which differs from the
point of view of President Putin.
