1. Early in the morning of 18 September 2018 my friend Askhad Khazretovich Sheudzhen rang me up with the telephone. He said, he had written and published a book about my father; he wanted to present it to me as a birthday (I was to be 64 on 23 September 2018) gift. He came to me later this day and presented the book, which I accepted with thanks.

2. The book “My teacher – academician Alyoshin” (in Rus.: “Moi uchitel – academic Alyoshin”) is published in Maikop in “OOO”Polygraph-Yug” in 2018; 216 pages; with the recensions of Doctor of History, professor A. N. Eremeeva and Doctor of Agriculture, professor, honorary worker of the highest school of Russian Federation G. L. Zelenskiy, in 1 000 exemplars.

3. The book is based on the memorials of Sheudzhen and on the publications of newspapers, journals; recensions and testimonials. It contains also the memorials of some other disciples and many photographs. The book is very useful.

4. It has the excessive material about A. A. Shmuck, who has no connection with E. P Alyoshin. The book has the materials about the teachers of E. P. Alyoshin – P. S. Erygin, A. I. Smirnov, N. A. Maximov. Alas, it has not the materials about more ancient teachers chain – about Palladin, Timiryazev, Boussingault, Alexander von Humboldt, Goethe and Linnaeus (watch: http://isaurian.blogspot.com/2013/06/blog-post.html#more).

5. The book does not contain the story of E. P. Alyoshin’s family; it does not contain the tragic story of his father, killed in Stalin’s prison camp, and the story of my mother’s father, also murdered in the same camp; thus, it does not contain the story of tragic entering the institute and of the mystery of the relations with P. S. Erygin.

6. It does not contain the story of the tragic relations with G. A. Romanenko, of the plot against E. P Alyoshin and of his dismissal from the office of all-Russia Rice Research Institute director.

7. It does not contain the story of pastor Gottfried Shpieth blessing of E. P. Alyoshin to go to Germany and the story of propst Oswald Wutzke funeral service in memory of the late E. P. Alyoshin.

8. In any case, the book of Sheudzhen is a good and useful one and a good birthday present.
