PALMA LESSON

1. On the 24-th of March 2021 the militants of Ash-Shabab (of the Khalifate) captured the town of Palma in the North of Mozambique not far from the Tanzania border. They kept it until the 05-th of April 2021 and declared it to be the temporary capital of the Khalifate. Of 75 000 population 15 000 left the town. The militants destroyed the banks, the offices of prosecutor and of local administration.
