LUTHER, FRANCIS AND
ANTICHRIST

1. The
“Orthodox Voice of Kuban” (in Rus. “Pravoslavniy Golos Kubany”) newspaper (OVK,
March 2013, № 3/268, chief editor – the Kuban metropolitan Isidor) has
published on the 5-th page the photo of the icon, depicting the army of the
antichrist (with the necessary inscription – in order to have nobody to doubt),
attacking the orthodox church, shown as a ship. There are Luther (to avoid any
doubt the inscription “Luther” is given over him; he, as a technically advanced
German, is drawn with a gun, and the other antichrist warriors – with the cold
weapons) and the Rome Pope (the necessary inscription is over him, too) in the
antichrist army ranks.
Between
Luther and Pope some person is drawn to crawl out of the jaws of the monster
and to shoot at the orthodox church with a bow; he has a turban on his head,
that, as one can understand, must symbolize the Moslemism.
