1. The presentation of Christ epistle to Russian president Putin has taken place at the Krasnodar Territory festival of the Russian Germans national culture.

2. The festival took place in Krasnodar (National Cultures Center; Krasnoarmeiskaya st., 53; 09.12.2012; 13-00 – 16-00) under the leadership of A. A. Rotermehl. More, than 200 persons participated in the event – the members of the German cultural societies from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Armavir, Ghelendzhik, Goryachiy Klyuch, Tuapse and Mostovskoy districts; as well as the members of the German Evangelish-Lutheran congregation of Krasnodar.

3. The presented epistle of Christ to Putin is a post card (“opened letter”), on the front side of which the photo of the ancient kirche and the subscription: “Evangelish–Lutheran kirche in Krasnodar, Oktyabrskaya st., 51” (in Rus.) are situated. On the back side the text is printed (in Rus.): “Vladimir Vladimirovich! Return the historic German Evangelish-Lutheran kirche in Krasnodar to Jesus Christ!”. On the same side the address is printed (in Rus.): “To whom: Putin Vladimir Vladimirovich. The president of Russia. Where: Administration of president, № 4, Staraya Ploshchad, Moscow. 103 132”. On the postage stamp place it is printed: “The usual postage stamp for Russia according to a tariff”.

Any person can put a stamp there and send a card to Putin. A volunteer can also multiply the post card.

4. The post cards of the first set, printed in typography, were spread among the festival participants, including the representatives of the Krasnodar Territory administration and Krasnodar city one.

5. I shall mention two else episodes of the festival. First: the event was opened with the song “Von guten Machten”, the verses of which had been written by D. Bonhoeffer. Second: in connection with the fact, that the event was going on during the second Sunday of Advent, two adventual candles were burnt. The honour to do it was given to L. A. Burlakov – the founder of the Krasnodar Territory organization of the “Republican Party of Russia – Party of the Peoples liberty” (RPR – Parnas), who had received the Christian baptism with the full immersion in our chaplaincy in 2005.
