2. The face
of Theodore Roosevelt – the 26-th POTUS – symbolizes the principle of
humanitarian intervention to protect the defenseless groups. Theodore (Teddy)
Roosevelt had saved the defenseless bear cub, who became the world famous
“Teddy Bear”. Billions of such toy (stuffed) bears have been produced since
that event all over the world. All “Green Peace” and ecologistic activity have
come out of the Teddy Bear saving. The hand-making of the “Teddy Bears” in a
small Baden village by a heavily handicapped girl has become the global
movement to protect the rights of invalids. Using the “Teddy Bear” principle
the USA protect all over the world different minorities: religious, language,
race, national, sexual, gender, handicapped, the psychiatric repressions
victims, the dissident groups in totalitarian states, etc.
3. Theodore
Roosevelt was the ardent Christian believer (the Reformed Dutch). Thus, his
“Teddy Bear” principle has the firm Bible basis – to defend the speckled bird
from the majority of one-colour birds around: “Mine heritage is unto me as a
speckled bird, the birds round about are against her”, - saith the Lord
(Jeremiah, 12:9).
4. According
to the “Teddy Bear” principle the mission in Russia of the American
Rehabilitation Ministry (www.ARM.org)
is working to protect and to rehabilitate not only the individual dissidents,
but also the whole groups, which were repressed: Germans, Poles,
Turks-Meskhetians (Ahiska), Crimea Tatars (Qirimtatars, Krimtataren),
Kurds-Curmanjis (Kurmanches) (all these groups were deported by Stalin and are
persecuted even now in Russia), Jews (they are persecuted by the antisemites in
Krasnodar Territory), the activists of the non-orthodox Christian
congregations, etc. For many being persecuted persons the spiritual support of
the ARM mission is the Divine Sign that Jesus Himself protects them.
Defending different dissidents groups we have discovered a special form of repressions, not having been depicted by the other researchers. The founder of the bolshevik totalitarian system - Lenin - invented the so called "monumental propaganda", i.e. the erection of the statues and architectural objects for the aims of communist ideology spreading. The negative mirror reflection of it is the confiscation and demolition of the architectural objects to repress the ideological enemies - I have called it "the monumental persecution". E.g., in Krasnodar the building of the historical German Evangelish Lutheran Kirche, the building of the Greek Church (Orthodox, but not of the Moscow Patriarchate), the old Jewish synagogue were confiscated and are being used now for profane aims, thus insulting and monumentally persecuting the believers.
